FROM FLOWERS to flamenco frocks, the Corpus weekend of 31 May and 1 June was a big celebration across the Granada region and the rural Alpujarra.
People enjoyed celebrations ranging from the large feria in Granada city to smaller processions in their own towns and villages. As is traditional, these featured ornate altars, residents throwing petals, and children in their communion outfits.
Some people also enjoyed a multitude of private parties, although we haven’t included photos of those!
